FLYTIP: Wishlist

WELCOME TO FLYTIP, an original feature hosted here at FLYLēF to share blog design graphics and advices, as well as encourage related discussions. The topic for Saturday, April 15th, is "FLYTIP: Wishlist || I wish I knew how to [insert wish(es)] on the blog."

As I continue my journey in this blog-o-sphere, I see and read things that help shape my blog. To borrow a quote from the brilliant mind of Albert Einstein:

❝ The more I learn, the more I realize how much I don't know. ❞

What I'd like to know more of is actually very programmatic. But, I don't want to bore you, so here are my other more relatable wish items:

• • • • •

WRITE BETTER REVIEWS: There. I said it! I have a hard time of writing reviews. I'd love to be able to put my thoughts to "paper" more eloquently and succinctly.

INCREASE ENGAGEMENT: I love giving comments, and receiving them, as well. How do I coax new and returning visitors to drop a nugget of their thoughts when they're in the neighborhood? Still working on that, and I think I will always be.

BE MORE PERSONAL: I've been trying to convince myself to put a mugshot on the blog for a while. I'll go through my profile pix, pick one, then sleep on it...only to backpedal and never see it through. I'll get there soon.

FINISH MY WEB SITE: Before I ever had a blog, I actually designed a Web site. It's sorely incomplete. I'd love to finish it with a few new items: About Me, Contact, and Books I've Reviewed.

BECOME A VIRTUAL BOOK TOUR HOSTING: This is a rather new obsession I've picked up just this year. How do I give back with my blog? I am doing FLYTIP, as many of you, I hope, are enjoying. But, there is more I'd like to do. I'd like to help authors succeed in what they do. It's a seed I've planted, but knowing me, once it takes roots, my ideas have a way of growing into actions. I'll have to update you on how this goes later.

I'd love to see your post! Add your link so that I, and others, can visit. Links that do not directly go to your FLYTIP post will be removed. Submissions end after 30 days.
