There’s no rest for the wicked.
Just a few weeks ago, I published In Celebration of 1958, a blog post about my beautiful mother, the year 1958, and my decision to participate in the 2016 Goodreads Challenge—the only reading challenge. Ha! Right.
When the fabulous Alicia @ A Kernel of Nonsense mentioned about the Finishing the Series Reading Challenge hosted by Bea’s Book Nook, well, I couldn’t resist. We thought it would be fun to motivate each other to finish, or become current, with series we’ve fallen behind.
I know, I know. It may come as a complete shock that I would need a support group (of one—Woo hoo Alicia!) to read. Very well, I’ll admit; I procrastinate, and I neglect one book to read another. I’m sadly just human, easily tempted by my whims. So, Alicia, if you’re reading this…Let’s finish our series with flying colors! =)
There are 4 levels in this challenge. I have chosen Level 4 (Expert series reader)—complete 7 or more series. This is my list in no particular order (all links to Amazon for now):
The 5th Wave, Rick Yancy (1 book, expected release May 2016)
The Stormlight Archive, Brandon Sanderson (2 books, with one expected release November 2016)
Throne of Glass, Sarah J. Maas (3 books)
The Wrath and the Dawn, Renee Ahdieh (1 book, expected release May 2016)
Night Huntress, Jeaniene Frost (1 book)
The Mortal Instruments, Cassandra Clare (1 book)
Penryn & the End of Days, Susan Ee (1 book)
Six of Crows, Leigh Bardugo (1 book, expected release September 2016)
The Lunar Chronicles, Marissa Meyer (1 book)
Maiden Lane, Elizabeth Hoyt (8 books)
